- Lectio Divina- Divine Reading or Listening. A very ancient art, practiced at one time by all Christians, is the technique known
as lectio divina - a slow, contemplative praying of the Scriptures which enables
the Bible, the Word of God, to become a means of union with God.
- Centering Prayer-Centering Prayer is a simple method of prayer that sets up the ideal conditions to rest in quite awareness of God's presence.
- Contemplative Outreach -Contemplative
Outreach is a spiritual network of individuals and small faith
communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of Christian life through the
practice of Centering Prayer, a method of prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of
God's presence, contemplative prayer. Contemplative Prayer is the opening of our
whole being to God, the Ultimate Mystery, beyond thoughts, words and emotions, whom is
within us, closer than breathing, thinking, feeling, even closer than consciousness
itself.
